Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
- 2 cups milk
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups fideo pasta
- parsley for garnish
How To Make creamy cauliflower with fideo

Step 1Heat a large pot of water on stove top to a boil. Break the cauliflower into bite size pieces. Cook in boiling water about 10 minutes.

Step 2While the cauliflower is cooking heat the milk with the bay leaf in a sauce pan. Do not boil. Set aside. In another saucepan melt the butter. Whisk in the flour. Once smooth whisk in the hot milk after removing the bay leaf. Discard bay leaf. Add the cheese and stir until cheese is melted.

Step 3Drain the cauliflower but reserve the water. Stir the cauliflower into the cheese mixture. Cook the fideo in the cauliflower water until al dente.

Step 4Drain the fideo and stir into the cauliflower mixture. Garnish with parsley and serve
