creamy cauliflower casserole

I stole this recipe from JAP. The original recipe [which ame I can't remember] had too many things I don't like, brocoli & crab are just 2 of the offensive [to me]ingrdients. My JAP friend & cooking mentor, helped me to develop this. This is so delish!!!! My hubby loves it too. Feedback please!

yield Depends on the crowd. I think it will serve 6-8 people as a side.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch cauliflower cut in bite size pieces
  • 1/2 stick margarine [salted] melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature [softened]
  • 1 can 10 3/4 oz cream of celery soup i use campbells soup

How To Make creamy cauliflower casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Steam or cook cauliflower for 5 minutes Drain well Cool
  • Step 3
    Mix all indredients in medium to large mixing bowl.
  • Step 4
    Grease 9 X 11 casserole [I use Corning Ware]
  • Step 5
    Put contents of large bowl into greased casserole
  • Step 6
    Bake uncovered @ 350 degrees for 35 minutes [or until well heated] Remember that all ingredients are cooked. The 35 minutes in the oven is to make it heat proprerly.
  • Step 7
    Note: Using small storage containers, this freezes beuatifully.
