Ingredients
- 3 cups frozen peas, cooked
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- WHITE SAUCE:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS:
- 1 1/2 cups mushrooms, fresh button,diced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
How To Make creamed peas with sautéed mushrooms

Step 1White sauce: Melt butter, stir in flour, add milk gradually and cook slowly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.

Step 2Sautéed Mushrooms: Cut off all but 1/2 inch of mushroom stems. Wash mushrooms throughly, dice and sauté, in butter 10 to 15 minutes, Season with salt and pepper;stir in Worcestershire sauce.

Step 3Add mushrooms, parsley if desired and peas to the white sauce. Stir together and serve hot.
