Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 3/4 cup cups milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups corn
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
How To Make creamed corn

Step 1Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onions; cooking for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with flour; continue cooking for 2 minutes stirring continuously.

Step 2Stir in the milk and cream in increments; alternating between the two. Stir continuously until smooth.

Step 3Stir in corn, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir to melt. Use fresh, canned or frozen corn. If fresh steam, roast, microwave or boil to cook before you start the recipe.
