Ingredients
- 3 cups thinly sliced cabbage, red or green
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup bread crumbs, fresh
How To Make creamed cabbage

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Spray a shallow baking dish - such as a pie pan - with non-stick baking spray.

Step 3Spread the sliced cabbage around in the dish as evenly as possible.

Step 4Scatter sugar, salt and nutmeg over the cabbage and pour in the cream.

Step 5Top with bread crumbs in as even a layer as you can make it.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
