Ingredients

  • 1 - vidalia onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 4-oz jars pimentos
  • 2 1-lb cans creamed corn
  • 1 15-oz cans hot tamales
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheese

How To Make corn with tamales and vidalia onions

  • Step 1
    Stew onion, pepper and pimentos in juice from tamales.
  • Step 2
    Add corn, tamales, salt and pepper to sauce mixture.
  • Step 3
    Bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour or until mixture thickens.
  • Step 4
    Just before serving, top with grated cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
