Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • - salt
  • - cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (12oz) can corn kernels or niblets
  • - canola oil for frying

How To Make corn fritters

  • Step 1
    Make a batter with the beaten egg, flour, baking powder and seasonings.
  • Step 2
    Beat well and mix in the Worcestershire sauce and the drained corn.
  • Step 3
    Gently fry a tablespoon of the batter in a little hot oil, turning once, for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Continue until the batter is used.
