These are wonderful served with fresh butter and maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 14 1/2 ounces can cream style corn
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • - vegetable oil

How To Make corn fritters

  • Step 1
    1. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except oil. In a large skillet, pour oil to a depth of 1/2 inch and heat.
  • Step 2
    2. Drop batter from rounded tablespoons into hot oil. Fry 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
