Ingredients
- 15 ounces can creamed corn
- 15 ounces can whole kernel corn (do not drain)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup cornbread mix (packaged)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, metled
- 2 large jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese, divided
How To Make corn casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish; set aside.

Step 2Stir the corn, eggs, sugar, cornbread mix, melted butter, jalapenos, and1/2 cup of the cheese together in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Step 3Bake for 40 minutes; sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top and bake for 20 minutes longer.

Step 4Allow to cool for 5 minutes in dish before serving.
