Ingredients
- 4 - ears fresh corn --- or --- 1 - 10oz. pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- pinch white pepper
- 1 large tomato, large diced
How To Make corn and tomatoes

Step 1If using fresh corn: husk and remove silk, cut enough kernels from the ears to measure 2 cups. Add all other ingredients except tomato, stir and cook over medium heat until butter is melted.

Step 2Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes more. Stir in tomatoes. Cover again and cook 5 minutes longer.

Step 3If using frozen corn, purchase corn without butter sauce and follow above directions.
