Got this recipe a long time ago. My Kids who are grown now hated carrots until I made these. They are especialy good in the summer time but look very pretty on a Salad Bar anytime of year

    5 cups carrots
  • ·
    1 can tomato soup
  • ·
    1/4 cup vinegar
  • ·
    3/4 cup sugar
  • ·
    1 large green pepper, diced
  • ·
    1 med. onion sliced
  • ·
    1/2 cup veg. oil
  • ·
    1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • ·
    1 tsp salt
  • ·
    1 tsp pepper

How to Make Copper Pennies


  1. Cook sliced into 1/2 inch carrots in water for about 5 min., you dont want them muchie,drain & let cool. set aside.
  2. Combine tomato soup,vinegar, & sugar. Bring to a boil & let cool. Combine all ingredients. Mix well, marinate overnight
