A delicious cabbage recipe which can be served, as the name implies, to dinner guest. The English name cabbage comes from the French word caboche, meaning head, referring to its round form.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter ( or margarine )
  • 8 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional )
  • 1/4 cup water

How To Make company cabbage

  • Step 1
    Heat butter in large skillet. Add cabbage, garlic, and 1/4 cup water. Cover tightly and steam over low heat for 10 to 12 minutes
  • Step 2
    Blend next four ingredients; stir into cabbage. Heat through but DO NOT BOIL. Sprinkle with caraway seeds
