3 can(s)black eyed peas-drained and lightly rinsed
1medium jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 Tbspdehydrated chopped garlic-or fresh, your choice
1 can(s)diced tomatoes with jalapeños
1 bunchgreen onions, chopped
1 Tbspdehydrated mexican oregano
1/2 cyour favorite italian salad dressing
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Colorado Caviar
- Mix all ingredients, chill for at least 1 hour and serve.
- As with most things, the longer it sits the better it tastes. Store in air tight container. Not sure how long it will store for, in our house this recipe doesn't last longer than a couple of days. LOL. Enjoy!
