Ingredients
- 4 ounces slab bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 bunches collard greens, stems removed
- 1 bunch mustard greens, stems removed
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- - hot sauce, to taste
How To Make collard and mustard greens

Step 1Cook the bacon in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.

Step 2Reduce the heat to low and add the onion.

Step 3Cook for 10 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally.

Step 4Add the greens and stock.

Step 5Cover and cook for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the greens are just tender.

Step 6Season with salt and pepper.

Step 7Sprinkle with hot sauce if desired.
