We used to visit my in-laws every weekend and I would never go empty handed. Just how I was raised. So one weekend this is what I contributed to the table. My father-in-law was very impressed. It never failed when he saw me he would always ask, "What did you bring this time?" Even though my in-laws have passed on these recipes always bring a smile to my face and remind me of two wonderful people. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 24 large mushrooms, about 2 inches in diameter
- 1/4 cup sliced scallions or onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make ciao bella pepperoni stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Step 2Wash and drain mushrooms. Remove stems; set caps aside. Chop enough stems to equal 1 cup.

Step 3In a saucepan cook chopped stems, onions, and garlic in butter until tender.

Step 4Stir in bread crumbs, pepperoni and italian seasoning.

Step 5Spoon mixture evenly among the mushrooms. Place in a 10" x 15" baking dish.

Step 6Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Place back in the oven just until cheese melts.
