- 1/2 tablespoon roasted peanut or sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
How To Make chinese style green beans

Step 1Just blanch green beans in boiling water. Drain and set aside.

Step 2Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the garlic, and cook until just starting to soften and become aromatic.

Step 3Add the green beans and stir-fry until they begin to soften. Stir sugar and soy sauce. Continue to cook for five more minutes.

Step 4Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve!
