Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 - scant tsp grated onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup velveeta cheese, cut up
- 2 pounds carrots (about 3-1/2 cups)
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 cup buttered bread crumbs
How To Make cheezy carrot casserole

Step 1Peel, dice and boil carrots until tender. Drain

Step 2Add cornstarch, onion and salt to milk and bring to a boil, adding butter and stirring until thickened and smooth. Stir in cheese until melted.

Step 3Alternate layers of carrots, celery seed and sauce in greased casserole dish.

Step 4Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
