cornstarch
2 Tbsp
butter

scant tsp grated onion
1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
velveeta cheese, cut up
2 lb
carrots (about 3-1/2 cups)
1 tsp
celery seed
1 c
buttered bread crumbs

How to Make Cheezy Carrot Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Peel, dice and boil carrots until tender. Drain
  • 2Add cornstarch, onion and salt to milk and bring to a boil, adding butter and stirring until thickened and smooth. Stir in cheese until melted.
  • 3Alternate layers of carrots, celery seed and sauce in greased casserole dish.
  • 4Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
