Cheesy Onion Casserole
3 largesweet onions
8 ozshredded swiss cheese
1 can(s)cream of chicken soup
3 Tbspparmesan cheese
1 tspsoy sauce
8 slicefrench bread
How to Make Cheesy Onion Casserole
- Grease a 2-quart baking dish. In a large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat; add in onions and sauté until translucent and slightly brown, then season with salt to taste.
- Cool and mix in all the cheeses and the soup mixed with milk and soy sauce. Stir gently.
- Toast French bread slices, cut in cubes and set aside.
Bake onion mixture uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Push bread under onion mixture then sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake 15 minutes longer. Serve.
