I got kinda bored with the original green bean casserole recipe I had so I wanted to change up and enhance the flavor. I added a few items and my family just cant get enough of this tastier version! I couldnt even get the pic taken fast enough before they dug into it!

Ingredients

  • 1 can french style green beans (drained)
  • 1 can white shoepeg corn (drained)
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 TBS - worchestire sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups french fried onions

How To Make cheesey easy green beans

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
Drain beans and corn. Mix together corn, green beans, celery soup, sour cream, onions, and worchestire sauce.
  • Step 3
Spray 9x9 baking dish with nonstick spray.Spread mixture into baking dish.( I use a square glass casserole dish)Sprinkle cheese on top and then "fold" or push so cheese is not directly on top but just mixed in among the greenbeen mixture. Sprinkle french fried onions on top.
  • Step 4
Bake at 375 for approximately 35 min or until it is bubbly and french fried onions are crispy brown.
  • Step 5
We like our fried onion topping crispy but you may not like yours that done. Just keep an eye on it if you prefer it not as crispy.
