I tried this the first time at my boyfriend's aunts house. I really liked it so I asked for the recipe and she gave it up:). This is a sweet and crunchy side dish. Yum!

Ingredients

1 bunch
fresh broccoli
3-4
green onions
1/2 c
shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb
bacon
1 c
mayo
1/4 c
parmesan cheese
1/3 to 1/2 c
sugar
1 can(s)
chow mein noodles, small can

How to Make Charlene's Broccoli Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fry bacon crispy, drain, and chop into bits. I just cut my bacon with my kitchen shears and fry that way I don't have to chop after its cooked. See pic
  • 2In the meantime, chop broccoli into florets. Chop green onions (I use my scissors to snip small). Place both in large mixing bowl. Add cheddar cheese. Toss.
  • 3Mix mayo, Parmesan, and sugar until combined.
  • 4Toss salad with dressing, bacon, and Chinese noodles just before serving. Enjoy:)
