Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- olive oil
- salt
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms of choice
- 1 stalk rosemary
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 large eggs
How To Make cauliflower steaks with mushroom and fried egg

Step 1Remove the leaves from the head of cauliflower keeping the stem intact.. Cut two steaks out of the middle of the head. Set them aside. Reserve the remaining cauliflower for another use.

Step 2Preheat oven 375 degrees. Add the steaks to the sheet and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. Roast for about 20 minutes flip the steaks and roast about another 20 minutes.

Step 3Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside on a paper towel to drain. Add the garlic to the bacon fat and saute 30 seconds. Add the mushrooms and rosemary sprig and cook until the mushrooms have given off their moisture.

Step 4Pour in the wine and let most evaporate. Remove the rosemary sprig and chop the bacon and stir into the mushroom mixture.

Step 5Top the cauliflower with the mushroom mixture. Fry the eggs in oil and add to the top of the steaks.
