Ingredients
- 2 bunches broccoli, chopped
- 1 - red onion
- 6 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- DRESSING
- 1 cup mayo
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make cathy's fresh broccoli salad

Step 1Mix all ingredients except bacon in a shallow dish and pour dressing over - mix well and refrigerate covered. Make 24 hours ahead and every so often give the dish a shake to distribute. When you are ready to serve, toss bacon in.

Step 2You can decrease to 1/4 cup sugar if you like and substitute nuts and raisins for the bacon.
