~ cassie's awesome slaw ~
I made brats for dinner and wanted a light side to go with. So, I created this awesome slaw and everyone wished I had made more. My sons words were, " Its better than Red Lobsters. "...I guess that was a compliment...LOL...I also enjoyed the sour cream base over mayonnaise for a nice change... I hope you try it and love it as much as we did...you might want to double for leftovers.

Ingredients
- 3 cups fine shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion and the tops
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Step 1In a medium bowl, toss cabbage and onion. In a small dish, mix sour cream, salt, sugar, vinegar and caraway seeds, until creamy.

Step 2Toss with cabbage. Chill or eat right away. My family loved this simple slaw. It went well with the brats.
