  • 8 ounces baby carrots or carrot sticks
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • - fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • - lemon juice, optional

How To Make carrots with orange sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook carrots until just tender.
  • Step 2
    In separate saucepan, measure in the next 5 ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add parsley.
  • Step 4
    If you think it's too sweet, you can add some lemon juice.
  • Step 5
    Pour orange sauce over drained carrots.
  • Step 6
    Serve.
