Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    baby carrots or carrot sticks
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 4 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • ·
    fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • ·
    lemon juice, optional

How to Make Carrots with Orange Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook carrots until just tender.
  2. In separate saucepan, measure in the next 5 ingredients.
  3. Heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add parsley.
  4. If you think it's too sweet, you can add some lemon juice.
  5. Pour orange sauce over drained carrots.
  6. Serve.
  7. Reheats well.
