No clue as to where I got this recipe but I love carrots. These are really good and I especially like making them when I have an abundence of carrots that need to be used up.

Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots, cut into sticks
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
How To Make carrot sticks

Step 1Boil carrot sticks in water until tender. Set aside.

Step 2In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch then stir in orange juice and butter & mix until smooth. Slowly bring this to a boil and boil two minutes or until thick & bubbly.

Step 3Drain carrots and top with orange juice mixture.

Step 4NOTE: according to another great cook on this site, Colleen Sowa, you can cut the carrots into coins rather than into sticks.
