Experimenting with brussel sprouts to make them attractive for my young kids to eat! These came out sweet, salty and crispy.

Ingredients
- 10 - brussel sprouts
- pinch coarse sea salt
- pinch black pepper
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
How To Make carmelized brussel sprouts

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Heat olive oil in cast-iron pan; into olive oil add pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 2Cut ends off sprouts, then slice in half, length-wise. Save fallen leaves to the side.

Step 3Add to pan, flat side down.

Step 4Sear undisturbed, for 3 min.

Step 5Give them a good mix, turn heat off pan.

Step 6Add fallen leaves to pan. Pour 2 tbsp of honey over the sprouts; transfer pan to oven. Let roast for 5 min.

Step 7Remove from oven, stir, and pour remaining honey on top. Cover loosely with foil and let sit for 5 min.
