My husband and I love caramelized onions. They are fantastic on steak, sandwiches, and warm salads. This takes a little time but the flavor is awesome !

Ingredients
- 2 large onions, medium sliced
- 2 tablespoons real butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 - 3 pinches kosher salt
How To Make caramelized onions

Step 1Cut onions in medium thick slices.

Step 2In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter. Cook for a minute or two then skim off milk solids.

Step 3Add olive oil, sliced onions and salt. Cook 30 minutes stirring often. You do not want to leave unattended.
