Someone on this site asked me how to can peppers. Well here you go. Hope it helps.

Ingredients For canning peppers

  • 10 c
    jalapeno peppers -- sliced
  • 2 clove
    garlic -- peeled and cloves separated from bulb
  • 2 c
    white vinegar
  • 3 c
    water
  • 3 tsp
    pickling salt

How To Make canning peppers

  • 1
    Place washed peppers and garlic into hot sterile jars leaving ¼” headspace.

    Boil water, vinegar, & salt together.
  • 3
    Pour hot liquid over peppers leaving ¼” headspace
  • 4
    Put the lids on very tightly.
  • 5
    Process jars in boiling water in a large stock pot so the lids will seal. (10 minutes for pint jars and 15 minutes for quart jars at a steady boil).

    Let these peppers set for 2 to 3 weeks before opening.
