How to Make Canning Peppers
- Place washed peppers and garlic into hot sterile jars leaving ¼” headspace.
- Boil water, vinegar, & salt together.
- Pour hot liquid over peppers leaving ¼” headspace
- Put the lids on very tightly.
- Process jars in boiling water in a large stock pot so the lids will seal. (10 minutes for pint jars and 15 minutes for quart jars at a steady boil).
- Let these peppers set for 2 to 3 weeks before opening.
