Ingredients

  • 4 c
    1/2 inch sliced carrots,fresh gives better results and color
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c
    jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, light
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Candied Carrots

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook Carrots in saucepan of boiling water just until tender 8-10 Minutes. Drain.
  2. In a skillet combine butter,cranberry sauce,brown sugar and salt. Heat slowly and stir until cranberry sauce melts.
  3. Add drained carrots; heat & stir occasionally, until nicely glazed on all carrots, about 5-8 minutes.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley if you like, I do and serve. Enjoy!
