Ingredients For candied acorn squash

  • 2
    acorn squash, cut in half and seeds scooped out.
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

How To Make candied acorn squash

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Placed acorn squash cut side up on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Place in oven for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, melt the butter and add the remaining ingredients.

    After 30 minutes pour the butter mixture equally into the acorn shells.
  • 4
    Bake another 30 minutes. Serve.
