My Dad loves this dish. So do I really. I have found the baking time to vary tho, most of the time I need to cook it longer. (Dad likes the cabbage to be softer)

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups panko bread crumbs (plain)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make cabbage casserole

Step 11. Toss the (panko) and butter to toast in fry pan; sprinkle half into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish.

Step 2Layer the cabbage, onion, salt and pepper: repeat till all in dish.

Step 3In a bowl, combine the soup, milk and mayonnaise until smooth. Spoon over top of cabbage mixture in baking dish.

Step 4Sprinkle with cheese and remaining Panko crumb mixture.

Step 5Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
