Ingredients
- 3-4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 6 cups cabbage, cut into thin wedges
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 pinch sugar
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
How To Make cabbage and bacon

Step 1Put bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over med-high heat until evenly browned. Remove bacon and set aside.

Step 2Cook onion in the hot bacon grease until tender. Add cabbage, stir in water, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook until the cabbage wilts, about 15 minutes. Stir in the bacon. Splash with vinegar before serving.
