Family loves this recipe. I never liked Brussels sprouts before. I think it may be the raisins & garlic that did it for me, & of course the bacon!!!

Ingredients
- 1/3 pound maple bacon (costco has it) or regular bacon if you like. cut up in about 1 inch pieces.
- 1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts, fresh, cut off end, halved, washed
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 1 3/4 cups chicken stock box or canned
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic, fresh or in the jar will work
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
How To Make brussels sprouts

Step 1Cook bacon over medium heat till crispy, about 10 min. Set bacon on a paper towel to absorb the fat.

Step 2Drain off most of the fat in the fry pan into a separate cup to use later for another recipe or dispose of it. Leave about 2 tablespoons in the pan.

Step 3Add the brussel sprouts, salt & pepper to the pan. Brown slightly for about 5 min. Add the raisins & chicken stock. Lower heat,cover & simmer for about 10 min. Uncover stir & if dry, add a little more stock. Add the garlic & bacon & cook for 5 more min. Then serve.
