Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces pancetta, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 pint Brussels sprouts
  • 1 - lemon
  • - salt, to taste

How To Make brussels sprouts with pancetta and walnuts

  • Step 1
    Separate the Brussels sprouts into individual leaves, trimming the bottom and pulling the leaves off until you have a pile of leaves.
  • Step 2
    Add the oil to a large skillet. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add the pancetta and cook about 6 minutes until the pancetta is crisp.
  • Step 3
    Add the Brussels leaves cover and cook until the Brussels are wilted.
  • Step 4
    Uncover and continue to cook until the Brussels are browned. Add the juice of the lemon. Taste and season with salt.
