Ingredients

  • 1 package steam in bag Brussels sprouts
  • DRESSING
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 slices pre-cooked bacon, diced into half-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup frozen chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • - freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (for a more tart dressing, add additional tablespoons)
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

How To Make brussels sprouts with easy hot bacon dressing

  • Steaming the Brussels sprouts.
    Step 1
    Steam Brussels sprouts in microwave for about 1 minute less than the package instructions.
  • Frying bacon in a skillet.
    Step 2
    Meanwhile, heat large frying pan, add olive oil and heat. Add bacon and crisp up.
  • Onions and seasoning added to the skillet.
    Step 3
    Add onions, celery salt, and dill seed. Stir until heated through and some of the water has steamed off. (This will de-crisp the bacon)
  • Apple cider vinegar and brown sugar added to skillet.
    Step 4
    Add apple cider vinegar (or other vinegar of your choice) and the brown sugar. Stir until all ingredients are combined and bubbly.
  • Brussels sprouts added to the skillet.
    Step 5
    Add Brussels sprouts and stir thoroughly to cover. Serve and enjoy!
