Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
- 2 cups garlic minced
- 1 pound brussels sprouts trimmed
- 1 honeycrisp apple peeled cored and chopped
- 1 medium shallot chopped
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
How To Make brussels sprouts w apple, bacon and hazelnuts

Step 1Shave the brussels sprouts in a food processor or mandalin. Set aside.

Step 2In a medium bowl mix the oil vinegar, honey, and mustard together

Step 3Cook the bacon is a skillet until crispy. Remove to a paper towel to drain. Reserve the fat in the pan. Chop the bacon and set aside.

Step 4Add shallot and garlic to the pan and saute 2 minutes. Add the brussels sprouts and apple and cook until tender crisp about 5 minutes. Take off the heat and stir in the sauce. and then toss in the bacon.

Step 5Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Top with the Hazelnuts to serve.
