brussels sprouts in lemon sauce
I love Brussels sprouts and enjoy them prepared many ways. If you don't like to use mayo, substitute greek yogurt.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh brussels sprouts
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
How To Make brussels sprouts in lemon sauce
-
Step 1Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove loose outer leaves. If they are large, cut them in half. Cook the Brussels sprouts in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, or until tender. Remove from the pan and place in a serving dish. Set aside and keep them warm.
-
Step 2Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice and celery salt. Cook, stirring constantly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly heated. DO NOT BOIL!
-
Step 3Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Enjoy!
