Brussels Sprouts in Lemon Sauce

Lynette !

I love Brussels sprouts and enjoy them prepared many ways. If you don't like to use mayo, substitute greek yogurt.

  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Brussels Sprouts in Lemon Sauce

  1. Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove loose outer leaves. If they are large, cut them in half. Cook the Brussels sprouts in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, or until tender. Remove from the pan and place in a serving dish. Set aside and keep them warm.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice and celery salt. Cook, stirring constantly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly heated. DO NOT BOIL!
  3. Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Enjoy!
