Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh Brussels sprouts about a pound
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • salt and pepper

How To Make brussels sprouts in buttery pecan sauce

  • Step 1
    Heat a pot of heavily salted water to a rolling boil. Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut an X in the bottom of each one. Place in boiling water and boil for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the pecans and vinegar. Cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Drain the Brussels sprouts and pour the pecan sauce over top.
