Ingredients

  • 1 quart brussel sprouts
  • 1 small granny smith apples
  • 4 slices thick cut peppered bacon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make brussel sprouts

  • Step 1
    wash sprouts, cut in halces and core. slice the haves into ribbons and set aside.
  • Step 2
    wash and peel apple. dice fairly small.
  • Step 3
    fry bacon until well crisp. remove with slotted spoon when cool, crumble. in remaing fat, fry the apple til tender-crisp and then add shredded sprouts. cook until sprouts and apple are tender, stir in vinegar. season to taste and stir in or sprinkle crumbled bacon on sprouts.
