- 1/4 cup white miso
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 pound asparagus, bottom stalks trimmed
- olive oil and salt
How To Make broiled asparagus with miso and ginger

Step 1Mix the miso, garlic, ginger, lime juice, and hot water until the miso is dissolved. Set aside.

Step 2Turn on the broiler and place the asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.

Step 3Place the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat. Broil the asparagus about 3 minutes.

Step 4Remove from the heat and toss into the miso mixture. Broil again for another 3 to 5 minutes. Turning once.
