Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons water, divided
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make broccoli with mustard sauce

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon water with the butter, brown sugar, and mustard. Set sauce aside.
  • Step 2
    In a skillet, stir-fry broccoli in the olive oil for 1 minute. Add the remaining water, reduce heat, and cover and cook for several minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Step 3
    Add the mustard sauce and toss to coat.
