The garlic butter sauce and roasted cashews make this broccoli dish outstanding! Try it with chicken, beef, pork or any meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine (butters best)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup salted roasted cashews

How To Make broccoli with garlic butter and cashews

  • Step 1
    Remove and discard broccoli leaves and tough ends of stalks; cut into spears. Cook broccoli in a small amount of boiling water 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well. Arrange broccoli on a serving platter. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat; add brown sugar and next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in cashews. Pour sauce over broccoli and serve immediately. 4 servings
