Broccoli with Creamy Parmesan Sauce
1 bunchfresh broccoli
1 mediumshallot diced
3 clovegarlic minced
4 ozcream cheese cut into chunks
1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese
How to Make Broccoli with Creamy Parmesan Sauce
- Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water. Drain and keep warm.
- Place butter in large skillet. Add shallot and cook 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in flour. Slowly whisk in milk.
- Add the cream cheese cubes and cook until the cheese is melted and sauce is creamy. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve over the broccoli
