Ingredients
- 1 head of broccoli
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 shallot chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups white cheddar cheese grated
- salt and white pepper
How To Make broccoli with cheese sauce

Step 1Break the broccoli into florets. Cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2In a large pan add the butter and melt. Add the shallot and garlic and saute 3 minutes. Stir in the flour then slowly add the milk. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened Add the cheese and cook until the cheese melts.

Step 3Stir in the broccoli. Cook until all warmed through. Season with salt and white pepper.
