Broccoli with Browned Buttered Bread Crumbs

This is so delicious! A neighbor brought a baking dish of this yummyness for dinner, I just loved it! She told me the ingredients of the topping, with no proportions, and I just decided to wing it! I don't think you can screw this up! LOL! So quick and easy! But Soooo Good!!!!

Stove Top


1 to 2 c
broccoli florets
2 Tbsp
1 large
garlic clove, minced
1/4 c
italian bread brumbs


1Steam the broccoli florets, to your preferred tenderness.
2While the broccoli is cooking, prepare the bread crumb topping.
3Melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, and cook for one minute.
4Next add the bread crumbs, stirring until the crumbs are golden brown, about three minutes or so. Remove from heat.
5Place steamed broccoli in a serving bowl, dot with butter, and top with bread crumb mixture.
6So quick and easy, you are ready to serve!
