broccoli salad with raisins
I got this recipe from a friend way back in 1978! Sometimes when I make it, I "mix it up" by using a combination of broccoli and cauliflower and adding some toasted walnuts.

How To Make broccoli salad with raisins
-
Step 1In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, raisins, onion, bacon and cheese. Toss gently to combine.
-
Step 2In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. (At this point, I taste the dressing and adjust to my taste.)
-
Step 3Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and toss to coat.
-
Step 4Transfer to a covered container and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving.
