Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    broccoli rabe
  • 2 tsp
    peanut oil
  • 1/8 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp
    sesame seeds, toasted

How to Make Broccoli Rabe with Sesame and Soy

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepan. Cook broccoli rabe in boiling water for 2 minutes; drain.
  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add peanut oil to the pan; swirl to coat. Add crushed red pepper and garlic to the pan; cook 30 seconds, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add broccoli rabe to the pan; cook 2 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds.
