Ingredients
- 2 1/4 pounds broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all- purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons stone-ground mustard
- pinch salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- pinch pepper
- 4 ounces gruyere, shredded
How To Make broccoli gratin

Step 1Place broccoli in a steamer over boiling water. Steam for 10 minutes. Place broccoli in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish.

Step 2Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; whisk in flour until smooth. Cook 1 minute until and whisk constantly, until bubbly.

Step 3Stir in mustard and next 3 inredients.

Step 4Pour sauce over broccli; sprinkle with cheese. Broil until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
