I thought I would try a different dressing than mayo...It turned out GREAT!!

Ingredients

  • 2 bunch
    broccoli florets , chopped
  • 1 large
    head of cauliflower - chopped
  • 1 lb
    crispy fried bacon, crumbled
  • 1 medium
    sweet onion diced
  • 1/2 c
    matchstick carrots
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1 c
    nuts - i used pecans
  • 1 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    celery seed
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil, extra virgin

How to Make Broccoli, Cauliflower Salad with Celery Seed Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. after all prep work is finished,(chopping and frying) Combine first 7 ingredients, mix well.
  2. cook vinegar and sugar until sugar is dissolved, let cool, add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour dressing over veggie mixture and combine.

    Refrigerate overnight. If you can.
