broccoli cauliflower casserole
I first had a similar dish at a pot luck. I found several recipes that I liked and combined them to make my own version. The rice makes it very creamy. This could also be a main dish rather than a side.

- 1 large package frozen broccoli/caulilower
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup minute rice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1-8 oz. jar cheez-whiz
- 1-4 oz. can mushrooms
- 1-8 0z. can water chestnuts

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease or spray a good size casserole dish.

Step 2Thaw frozen Broccoli/Cauliflower

Step 3Saute onion and celery.

Step 4Combine all ingredients.

Step 5Bake for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes until tender.
